Independent audit · Seller Central (3P) & Vendor Central (1P)

Independent Amazon Ads audit for sellers and brands

A fixed-scope, written review of how well your Amazon advertising spend is allocated and controlled — measured against real profit after Amazon fees, not just ACoS. For brand owners, finance teams and e-commerce leaders who want an outside view, with no commitment to ongoing ad management.

  • Fixed scope and fixed fee
  • Written report with prioritised recommendations
  • Seller Central (3P) and Vendor Central (1P)
  • Remote · communication by email

Who this is for

  • Brands selling in Seller Central (3P) whose sales grow, but profit after ads and Amazon fees does not.
  • Sellers whose agency or in-house team reports ACoS and ROAS, while the owner cannot see the effect on total sales and margin.
  • Amazon 1P vendors who want to know what their ad spend actually adds on top of organic and retail sales.
  • Companies planning next year’s Amazon budget or considering a change of agency, who want an independent second opinion first.

Questions the audit answers

01

Is the advertising actually profitable?

I assess campaigns, products and search terms against contribution margin — after Amazon referral and FBA fees, product cost and ad spend (for vendors: using Vendor Central cost and margin data). You see which products earn money with ads and which only buy revenue.

02

What can we reasonably conclude about incremental sales?

Attributed sales overstate the true effect of advertising. I separate branded from non-branded spend, compare ad spend with total and organic sales over time, and review new-to-brand data (and Amazon Marketing Cloud where available). Each conclusion is labelled by how strongly the data supports it.

03

Where should budget go — and what does reporting miss?

A detailed PPC review at campaign, search term and ASIN level: what to scale, cut, restructure or test. Plus the decisions your current reports cannot support, and the metrics needed to close those gaps.

What you receive

  • A written audit covering profitability, incrementality, budget allocation, PPC structure and reporting.
  • Prioritised recommendations: what to increase, reduce, restructure or test, with expected impact and confidence level.
  • A list of quick wins and of decisions that require further testing.
  • A recommended reporting set (KPIs and views) for owners, finance and e-commerce teams.

What I need from you

  • Read-only access to the Amazon Ads console.
  • 12 months of Seller Central business reports (or Vendor Central Retail Analytics).
  • Product cost data (and margin data for vendors).
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud access, if available.

How it works

  1. 01

    Scope by email

You share marketplaces, number of ASINs, monthly ad spend and deadline. I reply with a written proposal and a fixed fee.

  2. 02

    Data access

You grant read-only access. No changes are made to your campaigns.

  3. 03

    Analysis

Typically 2–3 weeks, depending on the number of brands, marketplaces and ASINs.

  4. 04

    Written report

You receive the audit and recommendations. Follow-up questions are answered in writing.

Why independent

In this project I do not sell ad management and I do not earn from your ad spend. The audit is written to help you decide — whether you keep your current agency, change it or manage Amazon in-house.

Questions about the audit

Do you work with Seller Central (3P) brands?

Yes — that is most of my work. I have worked with Seller Central and Vendor Central since 2016, across Amazon.de and other EU marketplaces as well as other regions.

Do you also work with Amazon 1P vendors (Vendor Central)?

Yes. For vendors the analysis combines Amazon Ads data with Retail Analytics, shipped COGS and margin data.

Can you do a one-off audit without ongoing ad management?

Yes. This is a fixed-scope project with a written report and recommendations. There is no commitment to ongoing management — though it is available if you want it later.

Do you work with companies outside Poland, including the US?

Yes. The work is fully remote and communication is in writing by email, which suits companies across Europe and in the US.

How is the fee set?

It is a fixed fee agreed before the work starts, based on the number of brands, marketplaces, ASINs and the depth of analysis required.

Request a fixed-fee proposal

Send the marketplaces in scope, approximate number of advertised ASINs, monthly ad spend and your deadline. You will receive a written proposal within two business days.
